• Compatible Models: LCF black carbon filters are designed for the LCF Gravity Tank series, but can also be perfectly matched with other brands of gravity-fed water filtration systems. They can serve as a replacement for Berkey BB9-2 black filters, Travel, Big, Royal, Imperial, Light, Crown Berkey Series.
• Efficient Filtration - LCF black carbon filters utilize high-quality natural coconut shell activated carbon and silver as the main filtration media, which can remove up to 99% of residual chlorine, heavy metals, sediment, and other impurities. They can filter out over 200 typical pollutants that may exist in lakes, rivers, ponds, streams, and other freshwater sources, greatly improving taste while retaining beneficial minerals.
• Red Dye Test - LCF black carbon filters have exceptional product quality and filtration capabilities that surpass other brands, making them able to easily pass a red dye test. Customers are encouraged to perform an artificial liquid food coloring test periodically to determine if black carbon filters need to be replaced.(Red dye test is only applicable to black carbon filters.)
• Economical & Long-Lasting - With 3 black carbon filters, the LCF Gravity-fed Water Filter System can effectively filter up to 9,000 gallons of water, though the filters may need to be replaced earlier depending on the water quality. The cost of replacing the filters is low, with less than 1 cent per gallon of clean drinking water.
